Applying for the 2010 BC Aboriginal Student Award

1. Read the BC Aboriginal Student Award Statement of Principles

2. Read and fill out the Online Application Form and press submit. Please follow the pop-up submitions instructions carefully. Save a back-up copy of your completed form. You can also print the completed form and send it in by mail no later than May 15th.

Alternatively, you can print and fill out the the PDF Form to send in by mail.

*Note that if you submit your application form online, you will be e-mailed confirmation that we have received it. Please contact [email protected] if you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within 3 days.

If you have questions as you are completing the application, please first check the Q & A section. If you cannot find an answer, please contact us.

3. Print out one Letter of Reference Form, fill out the applicant section and give it to your referee. Ask your referee to send a typewritten one-page reference letter to the address provided on the form no later than May 15th.

4. To confirm your First Nations, Metis or Inuit ancestry, please either submit one copy of your status/membership card OR print out one Support for Claim of Aboriginal Ancestry Form to give to an individual, band or recognized Aboriginal organization who can confirm your ancestry. Have them return the form to the address provided on the form no later than May 15th.
