Application Procedures

The deadline for the 2012 BC Aboriginal Student Award and Aborigtinal Teacher Education Award has now passed. Thank you to all who have applied. Selections will be made and notifications of awards will be sent out to applicants by June 2012

Application for the BC Aboriginal Student Award and the Aboriginal Teacher Education Award include:

• A completed application form. (availableDecember 2012 for 2013 applications)
• One or two completed Reference Forms found at the end of the
  application. The forms must be in sealed envelopes, signed by your
  references across the seal. These forms act as a character reference as
  well as confirming your community involvement.
• One completed Confirmation of Aboriginal Ancestry Form – found
  at the end of the application – from an individual, band or recognized
  Aboriginal organization in a sealed envelope, signed by your reference
  across the seal OR include one copy of your status or membership card.

Completed applications must be received in hard copy at the address below. Supporting documentation must be sent in by mail, included with the student’s application when possible. Application materials, including supporting documents, must be sent (postmarked) by no later than April 23, 2012.
